If church is a family, Sunday is our weekly family meal. It’s the moment we pause, regroup, and re-centre everything on Jesus. Sunday consists of:
Worship and Teaching: We anchor our hearts in worship, declaring who Jesus is and who we are in Him. Then, we open Scripture together to see how the gospel shapes how we live, love, and work throughout the week.
Prayer: Sundays are never rushed. We leave unhurried space at the end of every service to respond - whether you need physical healing, a breakthrough, or simply someone to stand with you in a heavy season.
Connection: We believe that church really begins once the service ends. We love staying a while after the service, grabbing a coffee, and catching up over real conversation. If you're new, we'd love to meet you - head over to The Connection Hub in the foyer after the service. Our team would love to get to know you and answer any questions.
Join a Connect Group
Connect Groups are a great way to pull up a chair at the table and be a part of the family. We want to create environments where relationships develop and where people dive deeper into discipleship to Jesus - around tables, through meaningful conversations, and alongside people committed to one another.
Our Connect Groups meet weekly or fortnightly all across the Sutherland Shire. Each group is led by an individual or couple trusted by our pastoral staff, who are committed to ensuring the group is founded on God's Word.
Serve on a Team
Abide only works because of ordinary people doing extraordinary things together. Our church family is carried by a team of generous, down-to-earth, mission-focused volunteers who simply love seeing God's people cared for and known.
We have so many opportunities for people to serve in helping our ministries and city flourish. Whether you're great with practical tasks, good with people, or prefer helping out behind the scenes, you have a role to play in helping our family thrive.
